The Electronic Tourist Visa For India

The electronic Tourist Visa for India is surely a helpful and useful type of Indian E-Visa. However, there are many conditions and rules that come along with the Visa which should be met and fulfilled under all circumstances.

Firstly, the non-resident traveller from any foreign nations need to know that there is a certain eligibility criteria that they will have to meet before they can gain one online.

The basic condition of the electronic Tourist Visa for India is that they cannot stay in the country more than the time mentioned under the conditions of the Visa. Once the Visa validity for each trip gets over, the traveller will be required to leave the country and return to the nation from where they have entered. Or go to a third destination.

The electronic Tourist Visa for India is strictly for non-commercial purposes only. The traveller will be not enabled to carry out any commercial activities with their Tourist E-Visa in India.

As long as the traveller is willing to comply with the basic requirements and fulfil the eligibility criteria of the Indian eTourist Visa, they will be considered fully eligible to apply for an Indian Tourist E-Visa and travel to the country with the Visa as well.

  • The types of electronic Tourist Visa for India

The first type of Indian eTourist Visa is the one month Tourist E-Visa. This Visa will permit the traveller to stay in India for a period of 30 days or 1 month as the name suggests. This entry period is usually counted from the date on which the traveller takes entrance in the country for the first time with the Visa.

Since the electronic Tourist Visa of India is a double-entry Visa, it will allow the traveller to enter the country two times in the course of the validity period of the Visa.

The second type of the Indian eTourist Visa is the one year eTourist Visa for India. Basically, through this Visa, the traveller will be allowed to gain a total validity period of three hundred and sixty five days. Or one year as the name suggests.

The traveller should keep in mind that the format of the 30-day electronic Tourist Visa for India is different from the format of the one-year electronic Tourist Visa for India. This is based on the rule that the validity period will be calculated for the one-month Visa from the date on which the traveller enters the country.

However, the validity period for the one-year eTourist Visa for India will be calculated from the date on which the Visanwas issued to the applicant. The one-year eTourist Visa for India allows the visitor to visit the country multiple times as multiple entries are registered for this Visa kind.

An Indian Tourist E-Visa which is not very well-known is the five year Indian electronic Tourist Visa. This Visa will be valid for five years from the date on which the Visa was approved for the visitor. Just like the one-year Visa, even this Visa will allow multiple entries during the period of validity.

The nationals of Canada, the United Kingdom, Japan and the United States should bear in mind that they will be enabled to stay in the country with the Indian electronic Tourist Visa for a period of one hundred and eighty days.

The eligibility criteria and documents required for the Indian electronic Tourist Visa is usually the same as compared to the other Indian E-Visa types. The Diplomatic passport holders of any nation should note that they will not be considered eligible to apply for an Indian E-Visa of any kind. This is the same for the holders of the International travel documents as well.

Thus, leaving under the sixty day validity period is a necessary guideline which must be followed by the applicant.
